You would be interested to see this country - Friesland especially - every inch of it is farmed - dairy mostly - but they run a lot of sheep too - It is damp meadow land mostly - flat as a pancake clay loam without a stone in the whole province hardly. The farmers would sit up a bit if they saw Grouse [hast?]. All the same, their [butter?] cannot compare with ours for flavour.
