See Aug 4th When the new became known that Eng. had declared war a mob marched about town at night seeing that all Eng. names etc. were removed from buildings. All French & Eng words are prohibited. The mob came to the "Eng. Garten" restaurant & seeing that the staff of the restaurant were pasting paper over the name Eng. Garten they shouted "Bravo" forgetting that "Bravo" was French.
