I and another officer of the Northumberland ? rode over to LES TOUQUES and then on to PARIS-PLAGE, two most delightful watering places. Stayed the night at the Officers Club ETAPLES. |
June 25th Lost Vaughan. Left ETAPLES at 8:30 A.M. for PERNES again via St POL. Arrived PERNES about 11:50 A.M. Had lunch at Rest Camp with naval commander. At 3 P.M. we got on a London motor bus and again went via St POL and on to AUBIGNY where we had tea. From there to MAROEUIL to take over the 54 Infantry ? Coy arriving there at about 6:30 P.M.
