May 14th Showing Wilcocks around. Nothing to do. Saw Capt Thomas for Lieu Wilcocks. Also interviewed Capt Nelson D.A.D.L. who was very nice & referred me to the Adj of No 40 Group, who moved here today. Still trying to sleep on floor. Thunder showers & rain. Got letter from Percy, wrote M & Jessie. In evening wished my men Goodbye. They gave me three hearty cheers. Very good of them.
