breaking up. Cycled out to WANQUETIN & had tea with Capt Slade. In evening motored with Slade into H.Q. Saw the C.O. & dined with him, a most enjoyable evening. Plenty of wine & cigars. C.O. most charming & Slade & I are both having a Colbrook Coy of 500 men each. Cycled back from WANQUETIN without a light but the flashes of our guns & Duty lights, etc showed me the way. Peterson returned. Slept on floor O.K.
