I recognized several of the officers I had already seen on Dec 15th. It was very cold. |

Dec 25 Xmas day - no work - Gave my men a dinner also tobacco - cigarettes & a pint of beer each & in the evening also. I had finished my dinner they came outside my room & sang carols, which was very nice.
