Nov 14th Battalion moved to Bath & I also reported for duty -- we remained in Bath until April 26th 1915 & the inhabitants treated us both officers & men in a most generous manner making the Officers also hon. members of the Bath & County Club. during this period I had several enjoyable things to [?] visiting the Bryants etc. also one trip of five days to London.

Aug 4th 1914 War declared

Oct 24th 1914 Got my commission as 2nd Lieut.
