CERTIFICATE OF ENROLMENT in a VOLUNTARY AID DETACHMENT and PERMIT TO WEAR THE UNIFORM. N.B. This Certificate is not transferable, and is not valid unless signed by the County Director and the Commandant of the Detachment to which the Member belongs. It must always be in the personal possession of a member wearing uniform, and must be produced on demand by any competent authority, such as the Military, the County Directors, Commandants or the Police. It must be returned to the Commandant every six months for endorsement. It must be surrendered to the Commandant when the member leaves the Detachment. If application is made to join another Detachment the Discharge certificate must be forwarded with such application to the County Director.
