Friend Fred

Just a few lines to let you know I am getting in the pink of condition again and my wounds are getting OK I will likly be sent to some Canadians Hospital Soon. I am getting up for a hour the last 2 days. but very weak. I have Charlie Chaplin beat a thousand ways. I have a new kind of walk for him. Well Fred, I was covered all over with small shrapnel wounds I have one on the ankle that is the worst and still running. but otherwise everything else is fine. I thought Fritz's had me that time. But it is a great change in the Hospital
