Armstrong was going to list. he had made up his mind at last. none of the Brown Boys will come. well Fred my Sister Mrs. Amos has been very sick lately but the last I heard she is slowly recovering. had a letter from Old John Pettersen he is in the Base Company he was saying we are getting some fine news now the Cavalry are doing there dirty work and the Canadians are catching Hell they are in the thick of it all. I am down on the Range just now instructing the New arrivals from Canada all about the Ross Rifle and how to use it some of them are very green. some of them could not hit a Barn door the reason is when they come up to the Firing point they get so Nervous. for the Reason I do not know. well I will close Fred know more new.
