4/ spot for a few days but we got out with pretty light casualities. Jim mckenna & Scobie & Norrie Sandholm houry and all the local fellows from Barkerville are all doing fine. Harry Brierly is in England sick and Geo Turner he is in England he was opperated on about three weeks ago with a bad leg. Charlie Houry is a  Corporal now in our plattoon and Scotty Gilchrist is a Sergeant Chester Boyd also a Corporal Scotty & a fellow from the Forks his name is Chambers are recomended for decoration Scotty makes a good soldier and gets along fine with the men under him Billy Cook is a Captain now and I think before you get this he will be a Major he is a good fellow and a good Man most every one like him fine I tell you some of those big moose stakes would look pretty good out here and some of those big [ram hous?]
