3/ their outfit got cut up pretty well a Few days ago but the Barkerville boys are are all looking fine Archie Boyd from Cottonwood got killed a few days ago machine gun bullet through the heart. Walter & Chester Boyd are allright, they were both alongside Archie when he got killed and took it rather hard Henry Moffatt from Quesnell got wounded the same day I don't think it is very bad a piece of high explosive in the forearm and Jack McDougal from the Forks of Quesnell got pretty badly wounded a machine Gun bullet through the shoulder and six shrapnell wounds but he will pull through I think they are all in our Company it was a pretty hot
