9 Russians that were put in our Company before we left England we had a gas alarm early this morning for a change just to break the monotony Ben Scobie is a cycle Dispatch Rider now George Turner & Ed Sandholm & C.F. Boyd are all doing fine & Geo Moore that used to be with Jim McKenna he is doing map drawing & that kind of work the last few days this has been nice country before it was all torn up but when one is ten or twelve miles back of the firing line you would not know there was a war on there is nothing but men coming & going all the time
