Had a real enjoyable time & good WX. Though I saw a most wonderful exebit of lightening. I never saw any thing befor near so grand. It was very distant & no noise or rain. But for a grand display it beat the greatest bombardment I ever saw. Partly because it was behind a heavy bank of cloud; but it showed up the most extraordinary shades of light mostly a new red. It was at 11 p.m. | ||

Thank you for both letters; The first sent to Eastbourne & sent on at once & the second dated June 6/18 which I got today, after I got back frm 10 days landing leave which I spent at Eastbourne.
