Was B.3 I knew that ment a combatant board (3 officers from F not M.Os) in a few days. So I saw my Co O.C. & told him I wanted to return to F & he after a talk agreed to help me. At the C. Board I stated my case and told them I knew after 15 months in F I could do my bit again but they said they could not change my B.3 &  I asked if it is my age of course I shall not get younger but I feel able for it & if it is my hurts could I most likely go over in the spring the O.C after looking at my sheet (Medical report) said he could hold out no hope of my getting over to France at any time. But if I wanted to stay he would give me a good job. I told him I was too good a man to waste my time at a base & would say Canada. So I got sent here. Here I stated my case to the Chaplin & after some talk to see if I am bugs he agreed to see if her can do any thing for me. It is rather hard that people think you are bugs or a hum-bug if you say you want to stay. I cant see why a man should be thought wrong in the head because he hangs on to his ideals. Nothing has happened to give us any reason to change & things have been
