We do at the proper time go after a peice of ground & we get it & hold it. So do the French & soon I hope the Yanks will be doing the same. We must be slow as in these days of deadly engins of war It might be victory won at too great a cost as the French victory last December. I am pleased to hear that good old Pat has made a cache with you for when the boys come home. I suspect that others also have a bit laid away. But of course it will be too great & because of the boys who will not come home too solem a day for carrousing
