4/ at home will get this just befor I get back gives me bad dreams. When we were down at the place where Murphey was killed I got a pass to go back & see some of the places we fought over & to have a look at the graves of some of my comrades who died there in those fights. I went back a few Kels. to a town that was under shell fire then I had no belt on & a Red. Cap(police) had me up & it cost me 5/- rather dirty to a man who had not been far back from the front (where dress does not matter ) for so long to be yanked up on the street; as he is quietly walking along to find a Y.M.C.A. Canteen to buy a few Biscuits & a mug of poor tea & call it dinner, by a Red Cap who most likely never saw a shell burst near him. As you may know I was not either drunk or in any was disorderly
