But the British army as a whole is a wonderfull thing the men & the organization are something that any country or empire can well be proud of. I do not belive for one minute that any other army but ours could have won the great battles that our men have won with anything near, so few knocked out. It is because T.A. has got faith in himself & his comrades & his officers & is willing to risk all to do what he came out to do that enables him to creep up to & bomb out a machine gun that is well placed & almost unbeleveably hard to get at, or our Artillary boys to stand out in the open & serve his gun with big high power shrapnell bursting over head & H.X shells bursting in the ground near him with as much force as 100lbs of 75 P.C. would give.
