Y.M.C.A. WITH HIS MAJESTY'S CANADIAN FORCES ON ACTIVE SERVICE FOR GOD, FOR KIng, AND FOR COUNTRY

2/

We were out to Sidney for a few days field work & I got what I thought was a nasty deal both from our Platoon commander a C. officer who I dont like because he does not like me & is very unfair & also from our 1st Platoon Sergent who I like but who is like Grain to eager to be a good fellow & the man who is the bigest toady gets too many favours. I made up my mind to get out, cleanly if I could but get out anyhow As good luck had it. I got word a few days afterward of a tuneling unit being organized who had the right to take any man who volunteered out of any other unit. I finaly got into comunication with the O.C. of the unit
