The Co S.M gave the platoon to understand after the treat was over that he knew there had been under hand talk & it was given a strip on merit only & would be backed up always & if they thought they had a grevience to go to him I rather fear the gang may get me yet. but will not quit the platoon though I have been advised to do by two other sergents. Bonley of Quesnell is pretty clever & though he keeps in the back ground is an active member of our gang & he has the wil I guess to figure out a plan to put
