govt. Officer named Williamson. (Randall & Herrin the Govt Agent were away) Went to a lot of trouble to help our in the arangements for our comfort etc. We had a lay over a day for train &when train time came we had a roll call of a sort, it was rather funny as I was in charge & G. Turner had appointed himself funny man for the bunch & our friend /Robt. Murrie flatley told me, the corporal in charge to go to hell. & another man insisted that 3 was an even number & some turned to the left when I ordered Right turn & at one time I think the whole bunch were talking at once. However it was only a spirit of fun tat was abroad & I was in good humor though I had been harrased all day by fool questions & other businsness not so foolish. This was at South Fort George & a bunch of people were there to see us march over to the Depot.
