I guess Kit Carson is back in Canada by this time. we came over from France together, Harry Brierley has just left here to go back [to?] the base  He had a letter from Scotty about a week ago. he say's Tom B. and Mickey Mercer are still alive, Jack [Ellis?] has crossed over to the unknown also Norman Murray + Jesse Murphy Haven't heard anything of Harrie or Westover for a longtime[Lesceoters?] brother John told me that they expected him home at any time - Ernest is in France again and his other brother Bert. You never mentioned any thing of Casey, is he alive yet?
