10. Those School Teacher's company isn't hard to take at all when once a fellow has had a little of it. Gee! The camp seems dead to-day. There was only about 25 or 30 men all told for physical jerks this morning.  We are in the 72 Seaforth Highlanders but don't know yet whether to stick or not. We have both Uniforms & haven't decided which to turn in. The 72nd is the favorite with some fellows as they figure that no conscripts will be allowed kilts & they seem to think that the man that joins now is a h--ll of a long way ahead of the man that joins a month from now but I can't see it that way. The man that comes when called & that figures the war is going to last some time yet ought to in my way of thinking make as good a soldier as the man who went thinking the war would be over when he got there & that he would get a good trip & some good training for a few months of his time & lots went that very way
