away from this damp climate. Our rain has started with a vengence. I was only out to the Rectory for about an hour all last week. I think  Col. Mc D. has gone south. herbie will be alright with the Winch and [ ? ] are room is very nice with hot and cold water. We pay a dollar each per week. It is so convenient being just across the street from the barracks. You will see the adress on the heading. I usually take Ellie some chocolate so you can imagine how glad she is to see me.
