CANADIAN MACHINE GUN DEPOT

Betty is still laid up they wont let her get up until her temperature goes down so it makes it very hard to stay in bed especially when one is not sick. They are scared that a spot on one of her lungs will turn into T.B. Frank her husband is trying hard to get his dis- from the army. He was discharged from the R.M.A.S. after 2 yrs & 8 months in Africa and then when he got here in England they tried to conscript him which was rather hard -

I hav'nt received any parcels from BC yet so I am almost sure they went up in smoke at Halifax. A Vernon News came in today it is the first one for months and I was very glad to receive it. We expect to go to France on Wed- 16th but of course
