Dearest Mother  & Father. No news or letters came in the Canadian mail to-day-

I guess I can stand it though after getting three letters from Elizabeth in one week- There was a Canadian Rugby match here on Sat and it was great. I met three J.C.S fellows who were playing. I would like to get into it myself but I can't get off in the afternoon to practice until  4:45 and then we have supper, it is dark now at 5;30 so it can't be done. Last night Chick Carew and I went to an entertainment in one of the soldiers huts and it was the best that I have seen for ages. the artists were all old stage people and they certainly were good-
