Two torpedo boat destroyers are to pick us up sometime tonight and take us through the danger gone there really is not very much danger the ship has about 50 life boats on and the sea is not very rough so even if we were so unlucky as to be torpedoed one would have a good chance

(2) but we got off the train at the docks and went straight on board the boat. It has been a very calm sea all the way over but I do not like it a little bit. The boat is a freighter fixed up to accomadate a few passengers. We are attached to Col. Holmes reg from Victoria for the trip and that is just about as far as I would like to go with them.
