some times excercise them He says it's a snap. I'm glad he got it  I'm sure he deserves it Mrs Ellison.  He is attached to the mounted squad; so we are really not in the same unit. I tried to get transferd when Price whent up to see about it, but I could not get satisfaction. I got a letter from Bert, he seems rather pleased with his job. Well Mrs Ellison I hope he will not have to leave Canada.  There is not much demand for cavalry. I feel very sorry for poor Mr Ellison he as sure had hard luck. As we always used to say: Mr Ellison was too good to others.  There is one consolation Mrs Ellison times could not be worse so if they change, it will be change for the better.  I'm sure little Miss Sovereign
