3RD BATTN
you may remeber he was one of by best friends in Vancouver & since having the Canadians I have heard regularly from him. It is terribly sad that both he & his brothers should have been killed so close together. I got such a nice letter from his sister in reply to one of mine which was offering my sympathies. By the way I saw Lana [?] Baker [?] some months ago down in Kent & I gave her a bit of my mind. She started right away about her brothers & how splendidly they had done etc etc. I simply replied that I thought any fellow who remained in Vancouver long enough after the out break of
