of the trenches and among civilized people and we hear numerous pretty French girls in the vicinity. Johnny was around this morning and he is very happy with his new job, I showed him your letter and he was delighted with it. The big push has commenced in the South and we all hope it will be a success for if so, will tend to shorten the war considerably. We're very anxious to get back where everything is peaceful. I think Bowser should be strung up for buying in that "Prohibition Bill", and what are we going to do when we return. It will put the poor old Brewery out of business, wont it!
