I cannot call you much, in spite of your [?], as it is not allowed and having to censor my own letters makes it all the more difficult. We got fired on by 7 of our [?] on our way up here, and they got unpleasantly close for about 10 minutes, before they discovered their mistake. I wish that I could tell you more, but there have been such informal [?] about people saying too much that it is not good enough. Sorry to disappoint you.

We are away from Malta now so if you want some I regret to say that you will have to wait until we go there again. I had a lot of riding while I was there and took a good many times[?] trying to learn polo, I gave it up as I am much too slow and have got no eye for it, but at is grand fun while you are [?] on your [?]'s back.
