cause of about 2 weeks ago I went through a most strenuous test in driving, mechanics, 1st aid, stretcher drill, in fact everything and now I have passed and tomorrow am to be inoculated for interic and I believe go to France in about 5 weeks and in the meantime will drive an ambulance. I got my hand for the Municipal Asylum's Board. I don't think it has anything to do with lunnies although everyone tells me all kinds of tales! I think it so amusing.

Harold is on his way somewhere no one quite knows where but we heard from him yesterday and he was enjoying life playing cricket with the masses! He has quite a big job (a Lt. Col's) and is very pleased. I only hope he does not get torpedoed
