Sea bathe in morning with Joe & Meredith. Very fine. On return formed new list arr'd wh. took Andrews to Roulers. Lunch 2.75 fr. Saw the draft off & then into Havre look'g at shops. V. interesting. Still hot but cool breeze by shore. Cashed cq for £6 at Coms.
Sat Aug 5 Another pleasant day. Walks about town. Sent off a colour book of Belgium to Lindley. After dinner strolled about country in neighbourhood. Capt Burrell (1st Pion) writing a book - How I saved myself in the war
