Satdy June 17  Finished musketry course.  Excellent address by Col Prismall who is an ideal officer.  Got back to Otterpool + left for London at 3.35.  Stayed at Windsor Hotel + spent evening in walking about darkened London.  Full of soldiers + women.

Sunday June 18  10 am to St Pauls.  Then walked + motor bussed to 224 Kew Road to see Len + Winkie + Rachel.  Lunched with them + then walked thro Kew Gardens.  Lovely day.  After tea went back to London.  Great crowds.  Dined at Grand Hotel 9/-.  Back to Otterpool before midnight.  Crowded trains, all blinds down.
