Weddy June 7  Sea moderate but rising.  Ship following zig zag course about 90 degrees.  Bright + fine.  Picked up destroyer on port bow about 10.30 am.  Read news of blowing up HMS Hampshire with Kitchener + staff on board off Orkneys on way to Russia.

Disembarkation orders issued last night.  Pte Peto No 1 Co died last night.  Some seasickness in tween decks.  Disembar rations issued this am.  Marching 11-11.45 am.  Blowing a gale.  Sighted Ireland (Ramnell Id) about 3.30 pm + about same time picked up destroyer E wh we afterwards dropped.  Passed inside Ramnell Id about 5pm.  Saw mine sweepers about 8.30 pm.
