Sunday 4 June Early Communion in Sergts smoking room. Battn Church parade on poop at 10am. Still perfectly calm & fine. Fog lifted about 9 am. Run to noon 331 miles. Sunshine & light easterly wind. False alarm 2.30.
Mon 5 June Fine day & calm sea. Attg Bn Ord Room 89th Bn as witness Col. Nasmith presiding. Practice alarm at 3pm. Phys jerks & marching 11 to 12 noon. Run 511 miles.
Tuesd 6 June Fine & calm. Practice with bow & stern guns at 9 am. Phys jerks & marching 9-10. Expect to reach danger zone tomorrow am. Sea rising a little
