As today was Sunday I went to a communions service in a little room which is usually occupied by little French children.  After that was an open air parade service at which General Burstall was present.  He has been very good to me remembering the old Victoria days.  The other day I was riding and met him in his motor car in a very narrow lane.  If my horse had not been nervous there would have been room to pass but she sat down on her haunches and tried to
