We are covering over our mud with a little snow but we are not sure that it is an improvement.

I hear that Lindley + Fowkes are both soldiers now.  Unless it eases their  minds I should think they might be better employed for there is no need for a Home Guard and neither of them could possibly be allowed to come over here.
