There is no leave in prospect for me before Christmas.

So Sholto Gillespie is in East Africa & Ronald has got to Holland. T. [illegible] & Eric McCallum are "thick." As you say Ronald's performance at the football match argues well for his condition. Anything that will keep up the spirits of of the old Mr & Mrs Gillespie is all to the good.
