My recent experience a few days ago of a heavy front line strafe shows me that I could not stand that life much longer & I so told the Colonel. He has therefore consented to my going to Division for special court martial work if they apply for me.

They say they will do so but that is not anything to be relied on. I have very good friends at Division who without any motion on my behalf or by myself have selected me for this work & have approved results but there are all sorts of difficulties, such as limited
