When moving out last time I passed a platoon on the road lead by a captain.  He stopped + asked if my name was not Crease + said his was Nicholls.  This made me no wiser.  Then he said he had married a Leeder + so we got in touch.  He was a nice looking chap but I can't remember ever meeting him so how he recognized me in a dim light + wearing a steel helmet I don't know.  We talked about Cardboro Bay for a few minutes + passed on.  He seems a very nice chap.  Then in the village where we were billetted

My dear brother

We made another move last night and are back again to where we were I think, when I last wrote.
