was buried up to the neck in stones + dirt but a piece of a galvanized iron kept the shock + weight off him.  My poor little batman though quite untouched was hopelessly shaken.  In the part I was sleeping in there is a door at each end - one door was blown by another shell right from his fastenings bang up against the other + one officer slept through it all.  I had just got out to go on duty but my good fortune pursued me.
