If the difficulty of the work assigned is any criteria of a compliment then I am highly honoured.
Fortunately we have excellent weather, hardly a spot of rain.
It is rather an exciting moment when on a dark night you feel rather than see that Fritz is going to attack. We beat off one last night with great ease - in fact it was a very half hearted affair.
There is no doubt that to be subjected to a long bombardment with H.E. is very exhausting & trying but my greatest difficulty now is to keep awake
