RFC

PER ARDUA AD ASTRA

Camp Rathbun Deseronto

We are having some more warm weather now but not insufferably hot. The nights are quite cool – in fact I sleep under all of two blankets, which is two more than I have used here. When I think of the difference in the climate no and when we came east it makes one realize that it is nearly 6 months since I joined the army. I can hardly believe it. I suppose because I have been kept busy all the time.

Well, Mother, dear, I think I shall have to close for the present so good bye with love to you and Dad as ever.

Your affectionate son,

Haworth.

P.S. I believe I forgot to say that your mode of address is O.K. Put R.F.C. in after 86 C.T.S. J.H.D.
