Dear People,

Dear People,
Just a few lines to let you know that I am O.K. again but have been sent down to this place - an old Naval Training School - though goodness knows what for. There is no flying here at all an nearly everyone is just sitting down waiting for demobilization. The mess is rottenly run here and the food a disgrace to a third-rate boarding house, so I am already fed up, and have applied for a week's leave.

204 T.D.S R.A.7 Eastchurch Kent. March 4, 1919. Dear People, Just a few lines to let you know that I am O.K. again but have been sent down to this place - an old Naval Training School - though goodness knows what for. There is no flying here at all and nearly everyone is just sitting down waiting for demobilization. The mess is rottenly run here and the food a disgrace to a third-rate boarding house, so I am already fed up, and have applied for a week's leave.
