Since I wrote you (it seems ages ago) I was sent to the above address, about 15 miles south of Liverpool on the River Mersey. A couple of days after I got here I was orderly officer and that night a big wind came up wit a driving rain .

As our few machines(this is a new station) were in a tent hangars I had to be up most of the night keeping the men busy reinforcing all the guy ropes and pinning. Of course I caught a slight cold .The next
