I left number two shed about twenty minutes to twelve, non, on March 12, 1910 and went to number one shed.  I came out about ten minutes to twelve and heard the explosion.  I do not know anything about the Chinamen.

I think they wore company’s shoes.  All Chinamen are told not to carry matches or smoke when they come.  I have told men myself and Chinamen talk among themselves.

The men killed had only been here about two weeks. They were supplied to Juen Sing.
