Wellington District Vancouver Island B.C.

An Inquisition indented taken at Wellington British Columbia, the 14th day of June in the 43rd year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria, before me, Warner Reese Spalding, gentleman, one of the Coroners for our Lady the Queen, for the District aforesaid, upon the view of the bodies of James Dolan and Ah Baw then and there and within the jurisdiction of the said Coroner, lying dead, upon the oaths of Moses Webb, foreman, Richard Hawkins, William Noye, William Hodges, Joseph Hoskin, Phillip Parsons Jurors

good and lawful men of Wellington aforesaid, in the District, who being now here sworn and charged to enquire, on the part of our Lady the Queen, when, where, how, and after what manner, the said James Dolan, & Ah Baw came to his death, do say upon their oath, that James Dolan
