took train to Slough to see Joan
21. Went to Leamington. Found Auntie Dar (Mrs. Thompson) aged but well. Returned to town & picked up George & Joan Buckeley & took them to dinner at Scotts & to Empire afterwards Slept at officers Pavilion 52 Grosvenor Gdns where Meg Watney was helping run the place - a delightful place.
