December 17, 1879 Ah Chue having been recalled this 17th day of December 1879 deposeth and said as follows: here Mr [?] on behalf of the defence have objected. he said [?] being re-examined . When the prisoner came to our room on the Wednesday morning I saw the prisoner's face all red and asked him what's the matter with your face and he said the [?] had the [?] flower. He stood up and looked in the looking glass, I did not see him wash. I then came downstairs. The basin and water were in the kitchen . I think it was blood he had on his face. I did not notice his clothes.
